I am a semi retired (since 1992) executive who is currently a consultant in the computer software industry. I have travel extensively as a business executive  with over a million miles on Delta and AA. For about 6 years I have stay in Marriott more then my own home.

I have visited all 50 states, most of Canada and about 8 countries in Europe. I have travel in Asia extensively and have been to China about once every two years in the past 30 years.

I began my travels in China about 15 years ago. In the early days I went to China as invited guest and have visited major cities as their VIP guest. I start taking package tours to China about 6 years ago. My extensive knowledge of Chinese culture and history are all in Chinese. I have information in Chinese but not in English. So some of the translation may not be the official English name or phrases. I have assistants who do all my writings since 1983 and my writing skill has regress significantly. So this web site is what I call information and content oriented. I have no connection to any traveling business and thus will describe events as is in facts and my own interpretation and no marketing or sale information's.

Since I started published web sites on the WWW in 1996 I have established myself a top website for Bridge links in 1997, a top web site for NetDynamics web application server in 2000, a top web site for computer analysis of Bridge hands in 2002. In 2004 I am trying to establish a top web site for traveling in China.  It will consists of many smaller sites of individual cities or major sites and concluded with a site that will contain the most up to date links for traveling information in China with my own comments. Hopefully I will complete this project by the end of 2004.
